PointSolutions (or Clickers as we call them at Centre) is an interactive technology that allows instructors to engage learners through live polling, competitions, and audience response systems. Using Powerpoint or Google slides, create interactive content in which students participate via one of the "clickers" available in your classroom. If you do not have an account, please create a free one with your Centre College login. Go to Create a Point Solutions account (https://echo360.com/pointsolutions-login/).
Instructions for Using Clickers
1. Insert the clicker receiver into a USB port of the computer and distribute the clickers to the students.
2. Login with your Centre username and password. If you do not have an account, please create one with your login. Create a Point Solutions account (https://echo360.com/pointsolutions-login/) (free).
3. Open up Point Solutions app from the desktop of the classroom computer. This is necessary in order to see Point Solutions within PowerPoint -- it won’t work if you just open up PowerPoint.
4. You are now ready to open up your presentation
5. Click the Polling tab and select the PowerPoint Polling option
6. Point Solutions open Powerpoint and you will notice a Point Solutions ribbon
7. Insert new question to start a poll
8. To conduct a poll enter presentation mode
9. Black out the screen to review results
10. If you have run this PowerPoint before (in your office or in another class), click the icon “re-poll question” to clear out the data.
11. You are now ready to run the presentation in your class
