We offer a range of events covering topics related to teaching development at Centre. Community members share their experiences with particular teaching strategies or topics, or report on the results of their teaching experiences or research projects, to a broad audience at monthly pedagogy luncheons. More narrowly-focused and informal teaching conversations bring together colleagues to spark a conversation about specific tools, topics, or strategies. To suggest a topic for a pedagogy event, contact Nisha Gupta.
The CTL’s flagship pedagogy event is monthly Pedagogy Luncheons, each facilitated by different faculty members on a relevant topic to our community.
PED Talks are an informal discussions with a more variable and flexible format than the Pedagogy Lunch. They are more relaxed, low stakes, and typically smaller, often targeting specific group interests. Some the topics for this programming format are preset, while others arise based on just-in-time need and interest
Conversations on Teaching are timely discussions about faculty interests and research on teaching topics.
Teaching and AI Speaker series. Monthly talks, held at 4 PM engage faculty in conversation about how we want to Teach in the AI Context at Centre.
