The Center for Teaching and Learning works with faculty on developing/creating ideas for class assignments and we assist faculty in helping figure out the best approach in designing the assignment.

Some questions we ask are:

• What is the goal for this assignment?
• What is the class objective?
• What expectations do you have for your students?

We also encourage faculty to print off and complete the Assignment Questionnaire. We work with faculty on completing this questionnaire and then exploring various options in creating the assignment.

For Students:
If students are given various options to complete an assignment, they can meet with a CTL Staff member in helping them figure out the best method to complete this assignment in way that will achieve the end goal set forth by the faculty member..

Faculty and students are encouraged to contact Keeta Holmes or Candace Bonnett to set-up an appointment, or stop by the CTL office from 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday).
