Our Mission

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is tasked with providing support to faculty in the development and enhancement of all aspects of teaching at Centre College. The CTL specifically focuses on supporting faculty in their work as teachers and the campus’ educational mission to advance student learning through innovative and evidence-based teaching.

Located on the 3rd floor of Crounse Hall (308), the CTL offers a quiet space for faculty to grade, write, conduct meetings, and gather.

We have an assortment of coffee, tea, and snacks on hand and are available for consultations or casual connections.

CTL Advisory Board

The purpose of the CTL Advisory Board is to advise the CTL in fulfilling its mission of supporting the creation and implementation of effective and innovative teaching and learning practices. Advisory Board members provide direction to the CTL’s mission and programs, serve as liaisons between the CTL and the college community, and review funding opportunity proposals.
